ORTHOPAEDIC CONDITIONS

Emma is certified to teach Pilates for orthopaedic conditions and fitness Pilates for older adults, and can offer specially designed private classes for those people who suffer from common orthopaedic conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis, back pain, shoulder pain and sciatica.

Physical Therapist

As part of the classes we will undertake functional assessments to make sure that we are using the best movement patterns for you.

The sessions will focus on specific Pilates exercises to improve stability, flexibility or strength around a joint, to relieve stress and tension in the body and improve your mobility, biomechanics and everyday functional movements.

If your GP or Physiotherapist has recommended that you undertake Pilates classes as part of your recovery or health plan, we can also accept specific medical referrals and provide personalised rehabilitative Pilates sessions.
