EMMA VICKERY SHAW
Emma is a Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Pilates Mat work Instructor, and holds an additional Level 3 qualification in Supporting Pre and Post Natal Clients with Exercise and Nutrition. Emma is certified to teach Pilates for Common Orthopaedic Conditions and Fitness Pilates for Older Adults, and she has previously worked for the NHS Somerset Partnership as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Exercise Instructor.
Emma is a member of REP’s (The register of exercise professionals) and CIMSPA (The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity). She is a qualified first aider and is fully insured with FitPro Insurance.
Emma Vickery originally trained as an actor and dancer, and has performed internationally in Shakespeare, repertory theatre, children's theatre, contemporary physical theatre, and as a dancer and revival choreographer for the English National Opera in the West End.
Alongside her Pilates teaching Emma works as a movement coach for actors and dancers, and is the movement director and choreographer for Motherlode Theatre Wales.
Quantock Studio
Quantock Studio is a small, relaxed studio, recently relocated to West Huntspill in Somerset.
The studio looks directly out to open farmland, and is the perfect place to escape distractions, relax and unwind whilst taking part in a private or group Pilates class.
David Martin Shaw
David Martin is Emma's Husband, and helps with the day to day running of the studio.
David is an actor, musician and photographer, and he also runs his business, Somerset Scenes, from the studio.

Classes can be booked as private 1-2-1 sessions or as private small group bookings.
Sessions can be held at our studio at Grove Farm in West Huntspill, or online via Zoom.
